Storyline

School's out for summer, and Island Airport (ILA) has just opened. Every poki wants to travel out for some sun and fun... if the price is right! But the school season is crazy in Pokiland - summer is only FIVE days long!

Goal for Each Airline

Be the airline with the most total cash at the end of the five-day summer season. And oh: don't go bankrupt!

Gameplay

There will be five rounds of play: one for each of the five days. Each airline has the following at the start of Day 1:

• 5,000.00 pd (Pokidollars - currency)
• 1 aircraft
• 5 seats per aircraft

Each day lasts 24 hours.

For each round, each airline provides the following as inputs:

1. Ticket price per seat, in pd
2. Aircraft average speed, in kilometers per hour
3. Number of round trips (there and back) per day

After all airlines provide inputs, the following will be calculated for each airline:

1. Seats sold in the round
2. Revenue earned in the round
3. Total cash on hand

Airline Operating Costs

• 1,000.00 pd in fixed costs per day
• 10.00 pd per kilogram of fuel

Origin-Destination Pair Info

• 100 kilometers between Mainland Airport (MLA) and Island Airport (ILA)

Aircraft Info

• 100 km per hour top speed
• 30 km per hour stall speed
• 5 seats per aircraft
• 1.0 hours between flights needed for turnaround
